Russian-born
Alexei began skating at the age of six and was invited to
join the Olympic reserve team in 1981. Over his career,
Alexei has been a
member of the USSR National Ice Dance team and holds many
Gold, Silver
and Bronze medals. Alexei is a graduate of Odessa State
University with a
degree in Physical Education and Ice Skating Coaching.
Natalia began skating at the age of seven back home in Russia
and went
on to become International Junior Champion. Many Gold, Silver
and Bronze
medals followed and in 1993 Natalia took second place in
the Russian Cup
competition and in the same year became top graduate of
the Olympic
Reserve High School in Ekaterinburg with a degree in Ice
Skating Coaching.
Natalia and Alexei began skating together professionally
in the worldfamous Russian All Stars ice theatre
in 1993 and married the following year.

They have
performed around the world in many major ice dance productions
and have consistently won praise from audiences and media
alike for their powerful, passionate and skilled performances.
They are also both regular skaters in the famous Blackpool
skating show Hot Ice and have performed in the
show many times.
Audiences may remember Natalia from her Dancing on
Ice days when she partnered goalkeeper David Seaman
in 2006 and newsreader Phil Gayle in 2007, whilst Alexei
was a hit with Spanish audiences winning the Spanish version
with Almudena Cid.
