she fought her way through 12 weeks of grueling practice,
learning routines choreographed by the legendary Jayne Torvill
and Christopher Dean.
After gaining A-Levels at Dartford Grammar
Girls School, Laura opted out of studying a degree in
Law and Psychology in exchange for a job at Channel 4
television, making tea for Dermot O'Leary. Laura was involved
with Fun Song Factory for two and a half years, during
which time she appeared in the films Dead Man's Cards
and Magicians.
In 2006, Laura became the female face
of kids' TV channel Nickelodeon, presenting Nickheads,
Slime Across The UK, ME:TV (LIVE) and the UK Kids' Choice
Awards with McFly in 2007 and Danni Minogue in 2008 for
MTV. Laur she has enjoyed covering many red carpet events
and press junkets in both the UK and US (where she holds
a work VISA) and has interviewed David De Rothschild,
Gwen Stefani, Queen Latifah, Maroon 5, Ice Cube, Miley
Cyrus, Hilary Duff, Hayden Panetierre as well as 'Drake
and Josh'!
In March 2008, Laura started guest
presenting GMTV's popular weekend show Toonattik. During

Laura has
now managed to amass a great deal of experience presenting
and performing - from title roles in pantomimes alongside
Steve Guttenberg, Bradley Walsh and the late Stephen Gately
to corporate hosting and commercial voiceovers.
She does a great deal of charity work and is the patron
of REACH, The Association for Children with Upper Limb Deficiency
and a Founding Ambassador of Wellchild.
In her spare time Laura loves extreme
sports. She has been a keen skier since the age of 9,
enjoys wakeboarding and waterskiing and has also sky-dived
from 1400ft.
During ITV1's Dancing On Ice 2011, she
soon captured the audience with her fun and friendly personality,
good looks, sheer determination and lust for speed and
danger! Her hard work paid off when she made it through
to the final and 8.8million people saw her take 2nd place.
Following straight on from the show, Laura is performing
in the Dancing on Ice arena tour, performing at venues
such as Wembley and Birmingham NIA.
Audiences at this year's shows at Blackpool
will see Laura debut with the team at Kyran's Ice Party
and sparkling on the ice once again.
